Legendary - War of the Gods
This city is notorious for being founded upon the site where a hero of legend buried the murdered children of Medea, one of Hecate’s most powerful priestesses. Though a Greek colony, its people get along well enough with its Thracian neighbors to the west and south. Though it has no standing army, many would-be conquerors often avoid “Little Scythia” for the rumors of strange monsters that come out at night. Locals often lock their doors and bar the windows during the evening, and do their best to forget the occasional villager who goes missing. There is only a dozen or so city guards who also serve as the city council; they enact the laws and enforce them. The patron deity is Hera, though some still worship Hecate.
